Sliced heads

You are here: Home1 / Blog2 / Curriculum3 / KS14 / Sliced heads

I am often amazed at how pupils in Upper KS2 haven’t mastered the art of copying and pasting. One fun exercise that I use in KS1 is to get the pupils to take a photo of themselves and to then slice their head up and paste it back together in a wonky or slipped fashion. This could be done horizontally or vertically or even both!

As a follow up to this they can slice their head together with the head of one of their superheroes. Pupils very quickly get the hand of copying and pasting and have fun at the same time.

Here are some samples, click on the photos for a larger version.
